Released in January 2008, Takara Tomy released this one as another liger and a new character in Zoids Generations story published in monthly hobby magazine Dengeki Hobby. There is no official announcement on how many of this liger were produced, but apparently you could still purchase from the main website of Dengeki Hobby magazine, even the dead line was supposed to be on October 2007. The Liger Red Hiou comes in “holotech” pink, and the body parts are in dark red, the eyes and the caps are both in blue. Interesting thing is the liger came with a white normal pilot, this is the first. According to the story and the box, a little girl named Seki is the pilot of Liger Red Hiou (or Hiou), and she’s also the little sister of Midori (pilot of Liger Blue Souga).
